Dr Pavel Foltan - Manager of i2L-East

Pavel has a Masters in Animal Ecology and  a PhD. and RNDr.  in Zoology from the University of South Bohemia. After working for i2LResearch Ltd in Cardiff for a 6 month period in 2007, Pavel returned to the University of South Bohemia, Czech Republic, to establish and manage our i2L-East office. Pavel has previously worked for 3 years at the Institute of Entomology (Czech Academy of Sciences) as an entomologist. Apart from managing the i2lEast office, Pavel works at the University of South Bohemia where he teaches a practical course of invertebrate zoology.

Mr Honza Okrouhlik –Study Director

Honza is an animal physiologist, who has earned his BSc (Biology) and Masters (Experimental biology) degree at the University of South Bohemia. In addition to his role at i2L-East, he currently works on his PhD. and teaches animal physiology at the University.

Dr Jitka Zelova – Study Director

Following her MSc., Jitka completed her  PhD. and RNDr. at the University of South Bohemia. After working successfully at the Cardiff office , in November 2010, Jitka joined the i2L-East branch as a Trials Officer. Jitka was promoted to Study Director in January 2011.

Ing Ondřej Cheníček - Trials officer

Ondrej studied Agricultural Engineering and Phytosanitation at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of South Bohemia. Ondrej and his family run an agricultural business and thus have access to a farm and necessary equipment to run a variety of trials.
